For this amazing film, director Byambasuren Davaa brings nothing but her eyes, her ears, her camera, and her observant profound respect to this beloved land of her ancestors.
In this land, she finds Life telling its own story of birth and rebirth, of ephemeral comforts, legends – and dangers galore to the fragile -yet so sturdy- human life.
Its own stories of love unending.
Extremely complex in its apparent simplicity. Elegantly nomadic, marvelously innocent, profoundly wise, most fascinating story that seems to link ALL to everything. EveryOne to love. That LOVE that is totally interchangeable with LIFE.
Peace, beauty and learning other ways are gifts that come with this viewing.

He dares, he knows and he does.

In Port Townsend: “Edge of the Sea Gallery”…

The sixty nine minute long DVD documentary Edge of the Sea Gallery, produced and directed by local artist and writer Sharon Lia Robinson, is chosen to be part of the Picture This Film Festival in 2OlO.
This Canadian film festival based in Calgary, Alberta shows films by and about people with disabilities.
Sharon entered as a disabled filmmaker.
The film features local artists, poets and writers from Port Townsend, Washington who were part of the alternative gallery in Port Townsend.
The gallery was Sharon’s vision to show the work of under-recognized and emerging artists. Edge of the Sea Gallery was in existence l998-2OO3.
The film features interviews with Sharon, and with local artist/photographer Steven R. Johnson, artist Alexandra Lord, poet/translator Mike O’Connor, and poet/writer Robert Komishane.
The Edge of the Sea Gallery dvd is also for sale in Port Townsend, at The Candle Store and at Northwind Arts Center. Or contact Sharon at
