In Port Townsend: “Edge of the Sea Gallery”…

The sixty nine minute long DVD documentary Edge of the Sea Gallery, produced and directed by local artist and writer Sharon Lia Robinson, is chosen to be part of the Picture This Film Festival in 2OlO.
This Canadian film festival based in Calgary, Alberta shows films by and about people with disabilities.
Sharon entered as a disabled filmmaker.
The film features local artists, poets and writers from Port Townsend, Washington who were part of the alternative gallery in Port Townsend.
The gallery was Sharon’s vision to show the work of under-recognized and emerging artists. Edge of the Sea Gallery was in existence l998-2OO3.
The film features interviews with Sharon, and with local artist/photographer Steven R. Johnson, artist Alexandra Lord, poet/translator Mike O’Connor, and poet/writer Robert Komishane.
