Last Nigth at Lehani’s Cafe, Down Town Port Townsend…
In Port Townsend, Poetry is incessant!
Here, Poetess Marjory reads her ALWAYS fascinating poetry:
Poetess Marjory reading her poetry at "Lehani's Cafe", in Port Townsend...
At the same reading, Poetess Leticia ( “I”…ha-ha-ha!
) explores “new” forms in her poetry -for sheer “kicks” -and deep enjoyment!- C if it pleases Ü 2!…: )
This morning
A bucketful of night
Spills over
.
And through its stars
I shine my hair
.
And I commune
With that serene
Scented
Darkness
As a nest
.
Yet
When I open
My Moon beams
I see
.
Light on the waters
Running towards me
Irresistibly
While I surrender
To the coolness
Of its touch
.
First
.
And then
It has a way
Of penetrating
The pores
Of my
Spirit
.
And then
Flavors of laughter
And cooing
And light clouds
And running creeks
With their sound
Of deep
Deep purple
and gold
Of the purest kind
.
With their scent of ideal chorus
With their scent
Of sparkling eyes
.
With their temperature
Of rapture
Run me
All inside
To explode me
.
Inside
.
In fire crackers
Of
Birth Giving
To more stars
And planets all
.
And we join hands
And start singing
A song
Of sweetness of grass
.
And wrapped
In the night
For sleeping
I nest in bed
.
Start to dream…
