Poetess Barbara Bowen is Back in Port Townsend..: )
While in town, Barbara Bowen chose the Up Town Community Center to offer us a presentation about her life in Costa Rica. She had a pretty “full” house; the presentation was quite fascinating and varied.
Her conversation went from dormant volcanoes in sight, soothing rivers visiting the back yard of some properties she told us about; to beautiful butterflies, habitats for plants and animals of different sorts, architecture, social every-day events and people, internet, some local food, and community.
Very en-joyable event… Thank you, Barbara! : )
