It’s done with extreme talent, joy, perfected skills and tiny budgets, to the maximum expression of theater. Always way deep into the theatrical spirit, under the brilliant, enthusiastic direction of Master Joey Pipia.
With his vast experience, Joeyconceives each theatrical experience, and creates, and gathers, and teaches, and directs every detail to exceed your expectations -every time…
Yet, THE GOOD NEWS is that even if you are presently not in the vicinity of Port Townsend, you can join in…first hand!…
Distance does certainly NOT exclude you from the experience!…
If so you choose, PortTownsendPeeps.com makes you part of the audience to enjoy different Port Townsend theatrical experiences; whether through unique theater lessons (for adults as for children)…OR…LIVE theater presentations of each of Joey Pipia’s events and plays in season, each year!
Or, join to explore an even more magical terrain: Your own acting dreams and plans…
Under the feed-back and supervision of one major talent like Joey Pipia, you can only excel and discover yourself rich with treasures of possibilities, in a LIVE class series with Joey himself.
All the aspects of your theatrical talents will be nurtured, directed and held to blossom here:
You a writer?… You and actor…You an acrobat?… You a illusioned delusionist in your heart?…You will break grounds of depth and magic in live broadcast Theater classes with Joey Pipia and the Chameleon Theater people…
♥To-day, maybe the Universe will remind you that you’ve been given EVERYTHING… if you accept it…
Question: Will you accept it with gratefulness today?… : )
If you were born today:
You are positive and determined and sometimes stubborn and impulsive. Do not give way to moods… You are capable and energetic and like to be a leader. You are very affectionate and demonstrative, and require an understanding and constant love.
Astrological quote from the “Fortune-Telling” Birthday Book -by Chronicle Books: ISBN -10 0-8118-4783-7
Monica, faithful and infatigable Volunteer Coordinatress, spoke in her direct, efficient, loving way, about her vast experience with the PTFF…And how her being bussy with it, has not allowed her to see as many of the movies as she would have liked!…ha-ha-ha!…Those are the paradoxes of the game of life, aren’t they?
And again, we heard another Port Townsend Poet, read yet another heart-felt poem – inspired by the memory of the dear late friend of all of us: Jack “Peter” Simpson!
Also again, in the spirit of Peter Simpson, there’s always a dear place for a good laugh…
Tonight laughter was under the care of the elegant “Pet Wearer”, Nathasha, and her good looking -well dressed- companion from “Potsilvannia”…Sporting a heavy foreign accent, and an -even MORE foreign- love of chickens as pets, compliments, currency and more!
We DID laugh with them…
Thank you, dear “Potsilvannians”, welcome to our Port Townsend, your Sister City…
“A Deal is a Deal” is the tittle that appeared on the screen of the Up Town Cinema House..
.And: It was a good deal of a movie!
Congratulations for this first movie choice of the season, dear PTFF Ones!
♥ Splendid photographers -and beloved PT Pals – Phillip Angert and Gustavo Huber♥ gift us with a taste of the visual magic at the “Burning Man” Festival…
Being Tim’s birthday, Robert Huber presented their breakfast table with his special “Carved Pineapple” – after we all had sung the “H.A.P.P.Y.” song with gusto!
For him an Impressionist version of the view from the INN’s windows -with the 2 swans that have graced our lagoon this year!
(And since the PT Kinetic Festival is coming next month… to further celebrate, we promise you a pic/video of the P.T. Kinetic Sculpture Parade here pretty soon! ; )

Master Poet Christopher Herold presides the creative table. J.J., poet and artist, and Carol sit by his left…
Creativity and form find a most conscious balance in this ancient art of Renky Poetry. Lots to ask and consult with each other…
Verbal, and literary consultations are required and welcome. Here Master Karma Tenzing Wangchuk is finding pertinent information…
EveryOne is envolved…
Suggestions and ideas are invited to freedom -curiosly possible within a most strict set of rules, favoring novelty, quality, variety, and mostly, awareness…
The group is open and welcoming. It gathers once every month, and fosters the most delightful society, and fun…
Friendship, food, drink and colaboration are the norm…
Interestingly, after each Poetry stanza is accomplished and unanimously approved, it is shared as “the new” part of the ongoing Renku Poem…And invariable, the feeling seems delicious to me!
If you are curious and/or interested in contacting this splendid and unique group -which honors the intellect and spirit of Port Townsend with its existence, please ad your comment here with your e-mail. I’ll promptly answer you, and get you in touch with Christopher and Karma Tenzing.
CHEERS FOR RENKU!!!
On going poem of the Port Townsend RENKU Poetry Group:
A SKEIN OF OLD YARN
(an autumn kasen renku)
begun on August 20 at the Huber Inn
Sabaki: Christopher Herold
Jay Haskins, Leticia Huber, Karma Tenzing Wangchuk, Carmi Soifer, Bethel, Jackie Barr, Alison Hedlund, Carol O’Dell, Doris Thurston, Tanya McDonald
1 autumn (Jay)
morning light
dragonflies barely ripple
the lagoon
2 autumn moon (Leticia)
does this warmth
come from you, O moon?
3 autumn (Tenzing)
the scarecrow’s
lost a button or two
off his coat
4 No Season (Carmi)
my neighbor weaves
a skein of old yarn
5 winter (Bethel)
in his cold hut
the hermit prepares
rosehip tea (Bethel)
6 winter (Jackie)
a rare visitor leaves
footprints in the snow
7 No Season (Alison)
just inside the door
lies an envelope
with a foreign stamp
8 No Season (Jay)
bits of paper protrude
from the eagle’s nest
9 Love (Jackie)
her new bikini
causes his eyes to bug out
and his heart to flutter
10 love (Jackie)
the scent of perfume
wafts from the dryer
11 love (Carol)
as I read my book
I hear her sing a lullaby
to our daughter
12 No Season (Jay)
if clouds could speak
these would whisper
13 summer moon (Doris)
summer moon
swallowed
by the mountain
14 summer (Tanya)
bats begin to swoop
all around the camp
15 No Season (Carol)
three girls
race for the white horse
on the carousel
